Fall-protection Section 2 - General Safety Precautions ## 2.3 Fall-protection The guardrail system is the primary fall protection system of the MEWP platform. If personal fall-protection equipment (PFPE) is required by an employer or the authority having jurisdiction, Skyjack recommends the use of a full body harness with a lanyard. The PFPE must be attached only to the approved fall-protection anchorage points in the platform. All PFPE must be compliant with the applicable government rules and must be inspected as per the manufacturer's recommendation. Use the three points of contact principle when you enter or exit the platform. This is when two hands and one foot or one hand and two feet are in contact with the MEWP or the ground at all times.
