Reg. 320/2007, App. E, S. 52.] ## Structural inspection - 14.77 (1) Subject to subsection (4), before the erection of a tower crane, the structural components of the crane must be (a) inspected to determine their integrity by a qualified person using non- destructive testing (NDT) methods meeting the requirements of the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB), and (b) certified by a professional engineer as safe for use after the inspection in paragraph (a) and any necessary repairs. (2) The hoisting rope on a tower crane must be properly seized before cutting.
