Hazard Identification

Control Measures


  • Conduct a Risk Assessment: Before starting any task, assess the potential hazards involved to determine the appropriate level of hand protection needed.: Consider the materials being handled, the tools being used, and the potential for exposure to chemicals, temperature extremes, or other hazards.
  • Select the Right Gloves: Choose gloves that are specifically designed to protect against the identified hazards. Different glove materials offer different levels of protection.: Nitrile rubber gloves are recommended for prolonged or repeated handling of certain materials.
