Any personal fall protection system, including components, subjected to impact loading shall be removed from service immediately and not used until a competent person inspects the system and determines that is not damaged and is safe to use for personal fall protection. (e) Employee training considerations. As required by this standard, before an employee uses a fall protection system, an employer shall ensure that he or she is trained in the proper use of the system.
