Published by SALUSTo work on a construction project in NYC, you must adhere to OSHA safety regulations [1]. Employers are responsible for maintaining a safe job site, including implementing a fire protection program [1], maintaining good housekeeping [1], ensuring proper illumination [1], and providing sanitation facilities [1]. Employers must also ensure employees use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) where hazardous conditions exist [1].
Furthermore, employers must have programs for regular job site inspections conducted by competent persons [2]. Only qualified employees, through training or experience, should operate equipment and machinery [2].
